This project starts with the wish to illustrate the public transportation
not as a people container, but as single person; because transportations
would not exist if there wouldn’t be a driver.
Many types of transportations and simple persons that make every day our
displacement possible .
Once again we find ourselves tight to the usual theme of the portrait
of the person for what he really is, as a single identity, linked to a
category by the uniform he wears.
Selected to cover, if possible, the entire transports present in Turin
urban area, all persons conserve their spontaneous attitude; the proud
pose of the young rail man, the careless fare hidden under the dark sun
glasses of others; the serious position, rigid but secure of many other
drivers locked for a moment during their working activity, they talk to
us about a human universe that is able to get recognition and appreciation.
